WORK PERFORMED
- The Food & Beverage Assistant Manager will support the Food and Beverage Managers in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all food & beverage services within Banff Centre.
- This includes the Vistas Dining Room, Three Ravens Restaurant & Wine Bar, The Hub Dining Room, Special Functions Rooms, Remote Functions, Room Service, Maclab Bistro and Le Café .
- This position is responsible for directing the daily work of each area, and will assist the Food and Beverage Managers in the hiring, training, scheduling, motivating, development of Food & Beverage employees, and administrative duties.
- Minimum of 3 years food and beverage and supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of banquet/meeting set-ups, proper food handling practices, service etiquette, service styles, and excellent customer service are important aspects of this position.
- The Food and Beverage Assistant Manager must be familiar with PC based programs and have a good knowledge of Word, Excel, and Point of Sales program applications.
- A professional attitude and appearance is essential.
- Knowledge of Time & Attendance, ProServe, First Aid, and ASIP are also required.
- A valid Alberta driver’s license
