WORK PERFORMED
- Working with the Student Health and Wellbeing unit as part of the Health Equity, Promotion and Education team, the Coordinator, Student Wellness Centres is responsible for supporting student wellbeing and success through health education and/or health promotion initiatives, programs and projects, with the Okanagan Charter for Health Promoting Universities and Colleges as a key guiding framework.
- Program development will include designing and delivering evidence-based approaches to support student wellbeing and student leadership and assessing the outcomes of a variety of programs.
- The Coordinator will support programs and projects that enhance student wellbeing and will work strategically with students, student organizations, and Evening and weekend work may be required, as well as Remote and In Person Work at the Student Wellness Centres.
- Teamwork and collaboration are essential.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of one to two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
