Growing
Chefs! is
a local charity that teaches elementary school students about growing and
cooking healthy food through our classroom gardening and cooking program. We
connect kids to where their food comes from, teach them how and why to eat
healthy as well as valuable kitchen skills.
Our
program is 100% delivered by volunteers who we recruit, train, and pair with
elementary school classrooms. Our volunteers come from various backgrounds but
the majority are those that work or study in food or nutrition related industries .
