Position: Dining Services Supervisor

Work Performed:
- Create wait staff scheduling and assist in front and back of house scheduling and reports as needed
- Work collaboratively with Dining Room Manager & Executive Chef to enhance the dining experience and improve the company's profitability
- Help maintain appropriate payroll budgeting and scheduling of servers
- Assist in managing kitchen and dining staff to achieve customer service and financial goals of dining department
- Help create a positive work environment in order to maintain low staff turnover
- Assist in coordinating front and back of house staff to create a seamless flow
- Be responsible for training and development of new wait staff
- Provide appropriate coaching to employees so they can perform job duties effectively

- Demonstrate success in managing and motivating a team of employees
- Ability to work and make decisions in high pressure situations
- Experience with training and scheduling team members
- Possess the knowledge and ability to follow State and Federal regulations to meet all requirements and resident's rights
- Possess or willing to get an Alberta Government approved Food Safety Certificate and a Liquor staff training certificate.
- Be willing to work weekends, evenings, holidays and special events
- Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
