WORK PERFORMED

• The Associate Director, Dining Facilities and Projects supports the strategy and provides leadership for all facilities, within the SFU Dining department. 
• The Associate Director is an integral member of the management team and is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, planning, directing, and coordinating activities concerned with the cleaning, maintenance, renewal and construction of the building's management systems, structures and equipment. 
• Acting as the liaison to SFU Facilities Services and Campus Public Safety, the Associate Director supports facility upgrades, associated capital projects, as well as the safety and security of all dining facilities. 
• The Associate Director, leads a variety of special projects relating to sustainability, menu planning, food station design, student engagement and local procurement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline with a Diploma in Facilities Management or Project Management
• Five years of related experience in developing policy and strategic goals for a large multi-purpose facility in a student environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
